Background: Thao's father deserted her when she was a newborn. Thao stayed with her mother until she was 12 years old. When Thao was 12, her mother died of disease. Thao lived with her 80-year-old maternal grandmother before going to the orphanage. During that time, Thao worked hard to help her grandmother and be able to go to school.

Thao studies hard and does well at school. She is the pride of the orphanage.

Interests: Thao likes to sing, dance, read, and chat on Yahoo Messenger.
