After being conceived, Samuel's parents abandoned him in the jungle. The infant was found by a passerby, who took him to a nearby village. A couple there adopted Samuel and took him into their home.
When Samuel was 8 years old, his adoptive family divorced. Samuel continued to live with his adoptive mother until she re-married and gave birth to a child by her new husband. After the birth of his stepbrother, Samuel was sent to Living Faith Children's Home.
Though he does not have any contact with his adoptive mother, Samuel's adoptive father contacts him occasionally.
Samuel enjoy's playing soccer. Someday, he hopes to go into a career as a businessman.
