Moi Thang lost his father 5 years ago. His mother cared for her children on her own until 2007, at which time she brought Moi Thang and his brother to Living Faith Children's home. Moi Thang's mother continues to live with the rest of her children in Chin State, but is unable to contact Moi Thang and his brother because of her poverty.

Moi Thang enjoys running and playing. Someday, he hopes to be an engineer.
