Dung's parents are divorced and her father does not support either Dung or her 5 month old sister. For a time, Dung and her mother resorted to begging in order to have enough money to survive. In February of 2010 Dung came to live in Promise House, Orphan Voice's Da Nang orphanage. She is enjoying her new friends and her new home.
