Background: Trang's mother left the family 40 days after Trang's birth; her father later left. Trang has an uncle, but he is poor and has 5 children of his own. As a result, Trang went to her grandmother's, where she stayed for many years. Trang's grandmother had epilepsy, however, and was over 80 years old. Because of her age and health, she was unable to care for Trang. In 2006, she took her to the Dai Loc orphanage.

Personality and Interests:Trang is a quiet girl. She enjoys playing with children who are around her age, drawing pictures, and reading picture-books.
