Diep
Diep, a teacher at a vocational center in Danang, where students come to learn skills in gardening, sewing and woodworking, contacted Orphan Voice to help because the school had extraordinary damage done to the roof.
Special seeds imported from Canada for one project were destroyed. Many records were water-logged.
The roof was totally demolished, making it impossible to resume classes. The teachers wondered if the training center would ever be able to recover. Raising funds for a new roof could have taken months.
Thanks to the generosity of our partners, Orphan Voice was able to provide a new roof for the Vocational School. When the school’s staff learned of this gift, they were overjoyed. “We were dancing in our hearts,” said Diep.
Just three weeks after the typhoon’s devastation, the new roof was completed. Young people were soon in class, learning skills that will help them find jobs. Because of your gifts, Orphan Voice was able to respond. Thank you!
